Welcome to Mini Cruise Review, a website set up following sailings on-board DFDS Seaways sailings from Harwich to Esbjerg in Denmark and Newcastle to Ijmuiden in Amsterdam.
We have tried and tested the sailings, checking in as ordinary passengers, dining on-board, shopping and enjoying the entertainment. We also explored the destinations we visited and have created a comprehensive set of reports based on our first-hand experience with the ferry operator.

Who Are DFDS Seaways?
Established in 1866, DFDS Seaways is a renowned and reputable ferry operator running services between the UK and Europe. From the UK there is a daily service from Newcastle to Amsterdam in Holland and three to four sailings per week from Harwich to Esbjerg in Denmark. DFDS Seaways also sails daily from Copenhagen in Denmark to Oslo in Norway. DFDS has been providing shipping services for over 140 years and is now one of the largest shipping companies in Europe. They carry circa 1.7 million passengers and 200,000 vehicles across the three routes, and are PSA bonded for packages so your money is safe.
